At its core, NisurgCare utilizes wearable health trackers and cameras to continuously monitor seniors. The health tracker captures crucial health metrics, including sleep patterns, daily steps, heart rate, and EKG data, while the cameras in Assisted Living capture posture and facial expressions. These facial expressions are transformed into computer vision based gesture metrics . Real-time analysis of health and gesture metrics is performed continuously by an AI model, resulting in a dynamic Health-Score that reflects an individual's comprehensive health and emotional well-being.

There are solutions in the market, which use proprietary health trackers and push buttons for call-help situations. These solutions do not prevent accidents and are helpful only after an accident. NisurgCare synthesizes a comprehensive Health-Score, computes personalized health thresholds to detect deteriorating Health-Score and generates alerts for caregivers to prevent an accident from happening.

Competitve Advantage

NisurgCare can gather health metrics from heterogeneous wearables and is not locked in with any particular vendor or cloud technology. The image processing for gesture metric can be achieved from the existing CCTVs in an Assisted Living. The solution can be deployed with minimal “Day 0” friction. All the competing products require proprietary hardware with a long deployment cycle. Competing products do not have integrated health and gesture metrics.

NisurgCare provides alerting before an impending accident situation whereas competing products alert after an accident.
