Rhea  senior at Westlake High school in Austin - Texas, is driven by a simple but powerful question: how can deep mathematical thinking create real-world impact?

Her journey toward building Nisurg began through firsthand exposure to assisted living centers and community environments, where she observed how small, preventable risks - missed warning signs, delayed responses, or lack of monitoring - could escalate into serious harm. These experiences shaped her conviction that technology should not just react to emergencies, but anticipate and prevent them.

This realization became the foundation for Nisurg: an AI-driven initiative focused on proactive safety. Rather than building technology for its own sake, Rhea set out to design systems that are deeply human-centered—tools that support caregivers, protect vulnerable individuals, and reduce risk before it materializes.

With a background in Olympiad-level mathematics, physics, and computing, she brings a rigorous, analytical approach to problem-solving. She applies this mindset to real-world challenges, translating theoretical precision into practical, scalable solutions.

Beyond her work at Nisurg, Rhea actively engages in conversations around AI ethics and is committed to expanding access and representation in STEM, particularly encouraging more young women to explore and thrive in technical fields.

Ronok serves as an advisor to Nisurg and is a student at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). He provides guidance on product development and applied research, with interests in mathematics, computer science, artificial intelligence, and data-driven systems. His work focuses on applying technical ideas thoughtfully to real-world safety challenges.
